The Stories

Kissufim:

On October 7, 2023, dozens of Palestinian terrorists belonging to the military wing of the terrorist organization Hamas entered Kibbutz Kissuf. They staged a massacre in the kibbutz and murdered at least 12 of its members, as well as six Thai workers. One of the kibbutz members was abducted to the Gaza Strip, and the kibbutz buildings were heavily destroyed. On Saturday night, the kibbutz heads moved to a hotel in the Dead Sea.

Re'em:

The massacre at Kibbutz Re'em was carried out by the terrorist organization Hamas on the morning of October 7, 2023, Simchat Torah 5th Tashpad, in Kibbutz Re'em near the border fence in the center of the Gaza Strip, as part of the surprise attack on Israel. The attack also targeted attendees of the Nova festival, a music event held in the area. In addition to the massacre of seven civilians (including four kibbutz members, two guards, and a guest), five individuals were kidnapped. In response to the violence at Re'em and other surrounding settlements, a war of iron swords was launched.

Sderot:

The Battle of Sderot was fought over control of the city of Sderot and its police station, between terrorists from Palestinian terrorist organizations and security forces and armed Israeli civilians during a surprise attack on Israel. The battle began on the morning of Saturday, October 7, 2023, Simchat Torah, the 22nd of Tishrei 5 Tashpad, and ended two days later with the cleansing of the city from terrorists. During the battle, the terrorists murdered 52 policemen and civilians, including a group of retirees who were on their way to the Dead Sea. The main focus of the battle was the police station in the city, where a number of terrorists fortified themselves for a long time, until they were finally eliminated by the security forces.
